Here’s the 2013 holiday stamp, printed on each envelope. The post office is ok with this as long as there’s real postage on the envelope as well. On the left Judy and Scott, on the right Hazel. |
Here’s our 2013 holiday card. It’s the color version of my pen & ink drawing of our granddaughter Hazel’s grammar school. |
Neil, Scott, Adam. 3 Generations. When Adam was born my uncle Al, my father’s older brother, called my mother and told her that since Adam was the youngest Borrelli male he was an Italian Prince. This was based on a story told to Al by his father in secrecy. It seems that a commoner Borrelli had married a genuine Italian Princess, I guess in Calabria, sometime in the 19th Century. I never got to ask Al why Adam was a Prince but not me. I did get to tell the story to my aunt Lillian, the last of my father’s brothers and sisters and she told me that Al had left out an important point; “Her family disowned her after the wedding.” So whether the Princess was disowned by her royal family or not, and whether there is any Italian nobility anymore or not, Scott is the Prince now. |
